Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data POD Made Easy (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and your rights. We act as the data controller for the data described here.

What we collect

Account data: your name, email address, password (stored hashed) and confirmation that you're 18+.
Google sign-in: if you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We never see your Google password or anything else in your Google account.
Billing data: handled by Stripe. We store your plan, subscription status and a Stripe customer ID, never your full card number.
Your content: prompts, designs, print files and listing copy you create.
Connection data: API tokens for providers you connect (for example Printify), stored encrypted and used only to act on your instructions.
Usage data: basic logs and device information needed to run and secure the service.
Site analytics: the pages you visit on our site, the website or campaign link that brought you here, your approximate country and your device type. We measure this without cookies: each visit is counted with an anonymous identifier made from your IP address and browser details, scrambled with a key that changes every day and is then deleted. We never store your IP address. If you create an account, we link the visit you signed up in, your use of the app and any partner links you click (for example to create a Printify account) to your account.

How we use it

To provide the service: generate designs, prepare files, create and publish products you ask for.
To bill you and manage your subscription (contract).
To keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interests).
To understand how people find and use POD Made Easy, measure our marketing and improve the product (legitimate interests). Some links to partners are referral links: if you sign up with them, we may earn a commission.
To send service emails, such as password resets and billing notices. Marketing emails only with your consent, and you can unsubscribe any time.

Who we share it with

We use trusted processors to run POD Made Easy:

Convex (database and backend), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (DNS, security and storage)
Stripe (payments), Resend (email)
OpenRouter and the AI model providers it routes to (to generate images and text from your prompts)
Print providers and marketplaces you choose to connect, such as Printify, which receive the designs and listing details you publish

We don't sell your personal data. Some processors are outside the UK/EEA; where they are, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Google user data

If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address, profile picture and whether Google has confirmed your email address. We use them only to create your account, sign you in and connect your Google sign-in to an existing POD Made Easy account with the same email. We don't use Google user data for advertising, we don't sell it, and we don't share it with anyone except the processors listed above that store and run our service. You can remove our access at any time in your Google Account's security settings, and ask us to delete your data as described under “Your rights”. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and content while your account is open. If your subscription ends, we keep your designs available for download for a reasonable period and may delete inactive accounts after notice. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, object to certain processing, or complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO). Email support@podmadeeasy.com and we'll respond within one month.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure. Our analytics don't use cookies or store anything in your browser. If we add analytics or marketing cookies, we'll ask for your consent where required.
