MyDesigns Review 2026: Features, Pricing and Complaints

MyDesigns is a capable all-in-one print-on-demand platform. In this MyDesigns review, the short version is that it’s at its best for high-volume sellers who want to generate designs, make mockups and publish products in big batches, and for sellers of digital downloads. It’s a weaker fit if you want to keep your own provider pricing with no extra platform fees, or if you only make a few designs a week.

A disclosure first: we make POD Made Easy, a competing tool, so we’ve kept this review to facts you can check. Everything below comes from MyDesigns’ public pricing page, policies and terms, and from public review sites, as of September 2026. Where MyDesigns is the better choice, we say so.

What MyDesigns does: the full pipeline

MyDesigns tries to cover every step from idea to fulfilled order in one dashboard. Here’s the pipeline as its public pages describe it:

1. Create. Dream AI generates images in batches across 13+ models, including options for transparent PNGs and vector output. A layered canvas editor adds text, shapes and stock images, and bulk image tools handle background removal, upscaling, vectorizing, resizing, color and pattern overlays and distress effects, with every edit versioned.
2. Research. On Pro and Pro Plus, Scout AI looks for listings with proven demand and generates new designs from those signals (more on that below).
3. Mock up. A built-in mockup library, your own PSD templates on every paid plan, video mockups and saved mockup profiles.
4. List. Vision AI writes titles, tags and descriptions from the image; Phraser AI writes them from your keywords. There are listing templates, multi-product listings, bulk Etsy personalization and a bulk trademark check against the USPTO’s clothing class.
5. Publish. Batches go to connected Etsy, Shopify, WooCommerce and TikTok Shop stores, or to a MyDesigns Store, its own hosted storefront.
6. Fulfill and deliver. Orders are imported and routed to a print partner, and tracking goes back to the marketplace. Digital files are converted to PNG, PDF, JPEG, EPS and DXF, zipped, hosted and delivered on purchase.

Few tools do all of that in one place, and none of the free provider tools come close on batch size. If you publish dozens of products a week, that’s the main reason to look at MyDesigns.

MyDesigns pricing and plans (September 2026)

Paid plans come with a 7-day money-back guarantee, minus the value of any credits you use. Pro Plus adds priority support. MyDesigns Store sales also pay normal card processing (3% + $0.25) on top of the store fee. The MyDesigns pricing page lists every limit per plan.

How MyDesigns credits work

Credits pay for AI work: Dream AI generations, background removal, upscaling and Scout runs. Each action shows its credit cost before it runs, which helps. MyDesigns’ own refund policy values plan credits at $0.04 each, so you can translate plans into dollars:

The rules that matter for your budget:

• Rollover: unused plan credits roll over for up to three months while you stay subscribed, oldest first. Credits added in January expire at the start of April.
• Cancellation: unused credits have no cash value and are forfeited when you cancel or your plan lapses.
• Running out: AI actions pause, but mockups and publishing keep working. Pro and Pro Plus can buy extra credit blocks; Starter can’t add a recurring block.

Read those rules against your own habits. A seller who generates steadily every month loses little to expiry; one who works in bursts around holidays should plan batches within the three-month window. The full wording is in MyDesigns’ Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Fulfillment and fees: read this part carefully

MyDesigns gives you two ways to get physical products made:

• Its own network. MyDesigns is the merchant of record for a network of contracted print providers and sets its own catalog prices, with a plan discount of 2–10% on top. Prices can be very competitive: when we checked in September 2026, a Gildan 5000 tee cost $6.21 through MyDesigns versus $8.80 on Printify. But a Printful-made item cost $10.17 through MyDesigns against $8.95 bought from Printful directly.
• Your own Printify account. On paid plans you can link Printify (for a selected part of its catalog at the time of writing), and Printify bills you directly for production. Our Printify review covers its own pricing and partners.

Either way, MyDesigns’ Wallet Terms define per-unit “Platform Fees”, including order-routing fees on Printify orders and per-unit fees on digital-product orders, but the terms don’t list the amounts. Charges come from a prepaid wallet first, then your saved card. Ask support for the current fee on your products before you route a best seller through it, and add it to your profit math.

For defects on MyDesigns-fulfilled orders, you report the issue with photos within 30 days of delivery and MyDesigns decides between a reprint and a refund. Change-of-mind and wrong-size orders aren’t covered, which is standard across print-on-demand.

Scout AI: useful research, handle with care

Scout AI, on Pro and Pro Plus, finds listings with real sales demand and then, in MyDesigns’ words, “recreates original versions” inside your catalog. MyDesigns stresses that Scout uses demand as a signal and doesn’t paste another seller’s design, and that you review everything and remain responsible for what you list.

Used well, that’s demand research. Used carelessly, work that stays close to someone else’s best seller is an intellectual-property risk to your shop, whichever tool made it. Take themes and niches from demand data, not compositions, and run your own checks; our guides to avoiding trademark infringement and handling an Etsy IP notice explain what’s at stake.

What users praise, and what they complain about

Reviews on Trustpilot are polarized: most are either five stars or one star, with little in between. Fifty reviews is a small sample, so read the recent ones yourself. Paraphrasing the common themes:

• Praise: the bulk tools and time saved, fast Vision AI, many AI models in one place, a responsive development team and frequent new features.
• Complaints: slow or unresponsive support, charges after canceling or unwanted renewals, designs or Printify routing lost after downgrading, publishing and mockup sync problems, trouble unsubscribing from emails, and weak out-of-stock detection.

Some complaints are the kind any fast-moving software produces; the billing and downgrade ones are worth guarding against yourself. Keep your own copies of full-resolution designs, and note your renewal date.

The money-back window is short, so use it deliberately:

1. Publish five products to your real Etsy shop and confirm every mockup arrived on the listing.
2. Read one Vision AI description closely: does it speak to buyers, and how much editing does it need?
3. Price one best seller through both fulfillment routes, including any platform fee support quotes you.
4. Check how many credits a typical design session used against your plan’s allowance.
5. Export your designs and find the cancel button before day 7, whatever you decide.
